Telemundo 47 / WNJU announced the addition of seasoned reporters Eliecer Marte and Rosarina Bretón to their news team. Both will provide breaking news and general assignment coverage for Telemundo 47 starting November 14 and November 19, respectively.
“Eliecer and Rosarina are experienced reporters who know the Tri-State market and the issues important to our Spanish-speaking viewers and their families. We are excited to welcome Eliecer and Rosarina to our award-winning news team and look forward to their continued service to our community through their new roles at Telemundo 47,” said Endy Rodríguez, Telemundo 47 Vice President of News.
Marte joins Telemundo 47 following more than four years as a national correspondent for Univision Network. In this role, Marte covered Tri-State news for a national audience from Univision’s New York bureau, as well as numerous national and international stories from the Miami bureau. He also hosted Univision’s national entertainment news show Sal Y Pimienta.
Bretón joins Telemundo 47 following nearly a decade with NY1, where she worked as a breaking news reporter, traffic reporter and weekend anchor for NY1 Noticias.
