Telemundo International Studios’ first premium series will have an exclusive launch during Conecta Fiction, to be held in Santiago de Compostela from June 18 to 21.
The first episode of El Recluso, that tells the story of a former marine who enters a prison in the border between Mexico and the US to investigate about a missing person, will be seen by those attending the event.
Telemundo has not announced the TV launch date of the drama, starring Ignacio Serricchio and Ana Claudia Talancón, produced by Inna Payan, but it has been revealed that it will be in summer.
During the opening gala of Conecta Fiction, an episode of Limbo –web miniseries from TVE’s PLAYZ platform, made in co-production between Argentina and España— will be shown.
Germany and Colombia will be the guest countries in this second edition, and that is why they have programmed the projection of the series La Ley Secreta from Caracol and La Ley del Corazón from RCN, along with a selection of series from FOXTelecolombia and Selección Natural from Helena Films.
Conecta Fiction will gather 400 professionals from 17 countries in Europe, the US, and Latin America, and will be attended by producers, OTT platforms, investors, creatives, distributors, scriptwriters, talent agents and more than 35 international television channels.
“Our priority for this edition is to boost to its maximum Conecta’s usefulness as a contact platform between Europe and America,” said Geraldine Gonard, director of Conecta Fiction.
