Netflix announces they will start shooting their new anthological series inspired by true facts, that will be titled
Historia de un Crimen.
Each season of the fiction franchise will explore different controversial crimes of modern history in different parts of the world. The first edition will be on the murder of the Mexican presidential candidate Luis Donaldo Colosio in 1994, and it will be titled Historia de un Crimen: Colosio.
This first delivery will be produced in Mexico City by the production company Dynamo, and shootings will start this week. The season will have 8 episodes, and it will be available exclusively for Netflix members worldwide in 2019.
Historia de un Crimen: Colosio will be produced by Andrés Calderón and Juan Uruchurtu, directed by Hiromi Kamata and Natalia Beristáin, while scripts will be under the responsibility of Rodrigo Santos.
The stars of the series are Jorge Jiménez, Ilse Salas, Alberto Guerra, Gustavo Sánchez Parra, Martín Altomar, Lisa Owen and Ari Brickman.
