Coty Cagliolo promoted to managing director of FremantleMedia Mexico

Cagliolo will be responsible for the overall day to day management of the operation

FremantleMedia announced that Coty Cagliolo is to take on an expanded leadership role within the company as she is promoted to managing director of FremantleMedia Mexico.

Based in Mexico City and reporting to Sangeeta Desai, FremantleMedia’s COO and CEO, Emerging Markets, Cagliolo will be responsible for the overall day to day management of the operation, driving the strategic vision of the business and working to reinforce the company’s presence in the region by developing and producing content for the Mexican and Pan-regional market.

Announcing the appointment, Desai said: “The Latin American markets continue to be a key focus for FremantleMedia and with Coty’s drive, experience and strong relationships throughout Mexico we’re in a good position to explore growth opportunities in the region.”

On her appointment, Cagliolo said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be taking on this new challenge. As the growth of the business continues be a passion of mine, I look forward to working with the team to bring more of FremantleMedia’s iconic brands to Mexico, as well as working together to develop new creative ideas.”

Since the opening of the local office two years ago, FremantleMedia Mexico has produced Cocineros Mexicanos (Mexican Cooks) for TV Azteca, the highly rated México Tiene Talento (Mexico’s Got Talent), also for TV Azteca, and continues to produce 100 Mexicanos Dijieron (Family Feud) for Televisa. The company has produced over 550 hours of content in 2017 alone for Mexico based and pan-regional LatAm networks via commissions or as a producer for hire.
