Univision’s broadcast of the Copa América 2024 final recorded its highest audience in 10 years, since the 2014 World Cup final.
The final match between Argentina and Colombia, broadcast by Univision and TUDN, attracted 5.2 million Total Viewers and 2.5 million Adults aged 18-49.
The coverage of the Copa América by Conmebol averaged 1.86 million total viewers and 827,000 Adults aged 18-49, surpassing the competition by 31% in Total Viewers and 21% among adults aged 18-49. During the tournament, Univision ranked as the #1 network in prime time among Adults aged 18-49.
Similarly, the final match of the UEFA Euro 2024 generated 3.0 million Total Viewers and 1.5 million Adults aged 18-49, making it the most-watched Euro final in Spanish. It increased by 13% in Total Viewers and 15% among Adults aged 18-49 compared to the previous final.
On ViX, the Copa América and UEFA Euro were the two most streamed sports events on the platform in the U.S. The tournaments generated a total of 30 million hours of streaming, with a reach of 5.3 million in the U.S. The Copa América final alone attracted 1.5 million simultaneous streams.
