Condista is entering a new stage where the company is betting on several fronts. At a cocktail party held within the framework of Andina Link 2024, Pablo Mancuso, general director of Distribution, announced a strategic alliance with Frida Media Group. “They will help us promote our products in regions where we do not have much presence and where Frida is strong. We are talking about countries like Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador,” he assured.
Mancuso revealed that his company will manage exclusively brands that Frida for territories where “they do not have as much strength,” such as Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean: “It is an association that makes us very happy,” he said.
He also referred to news related to the Italian RAI television channel, which Condista represents. “We are working with them on a new SVOD product which we are offering to our main operator clients. It is a high-quality content product that we hope to introduce very well.”
He mentioned that one of their short-term goals is to continue strengthening Condista Labs, a business unit led by partner Jorge Alberto Fiterre, in which they offer video processing options for operators and content owners that require greater distribution.
He noted that Andina Link is a leading event for the industry which, according to his vision, has recently evolved. “I think we are seeing a new Andina with a new configuration of participants, many technology companies, many ISP companies looking for solutions, looking for content, when before perhaps there were more cable and operators. I think it goes hand in hand with what is happening in the industry, which is changing and some actors have acquired greater preponderance.”
