Dori Media Group was in a high productive moment in Israel, Latin America, and the US when the global health crisis occurred. Like everyone else, they suspended shootings but continued with postproduction projects and made the most of this time to pre-produce new titles.

In Israel, they are finishing the post-production and edition of Normal (eight episodes), a high-end drama series they plan to launch in October on the HOT platform. Additionally, if the situation allows it, in September they will start, also in Israel, the shootings of the second season of The New Black.

“As a result of the processes companies are going through these days. We think work mechanisms are going to change. Work processes will be more efficient, with extensive use of technological means. Companies with new content or in advanced production stages will have an advantage when coming out of the crisis since they will be able to cover the huge demand for new content that will arise. At Dori Media we are working to respond to these needs,” said Nadav Palti, CEO of Dori Media Group.

During these months of the pandemic, Dori Media also signed two relevant agreements: one with Warner, that will produce four remakes (France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain) of the crime drama Dumb, and another with Apple TV, that entered a partnership as co-producer of Losing Alice (eight episodes), a thriller that at the end of the year will reach the entire world exclusively on Apple TV+. Losing Alice was chosen for Canneseries 2020 (postponed for October).
