Comcast announced that it will open a Spanish-language Center of Excellence in Miramar, Florida this spring. Once fully operational later in the year, this new center will employ more than 300 customer account executives exclusively dedicated to handling sales calls from Spanish-speaking consumers across the country.“We’ve been extremely focused on bringing an enhanced entertainment experience to the growing Hispanic community, but just as important is delivering top-notch service. By creating a dedicated Spanish-language Center of Excellence, we can leverage our investments in sophisticated tools and advanced technology, and deliver specific employee training on our unique Hispanic product offerings to deliver a consistently high quality experience to Spanish-speaking consumers,” said Filemón López, SVP of Comcast’s Florida East Coast Region. The Spanish-language Center of Excellence will officially start to handle customer calls in May and Comcast is currently accepting applications for the more than 300 new customer account executive jobs at {www.comcast.com/careers}.
