David Cohen, senior executive vice-president and Chief Diversity Officer at Comcast Corporation

David Cohen, senior executive vice-president and Chief Diversity Officer at Comcast Corporation, and César Conde, Chairman of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises and NBCUniversal International Group, talked to PRODU about the construction of the new NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises’ headquarters in Miami in a 21-acre area in which Comcast has invested US$250 million. Cohen said this investment enables Telemundo to move to the next level, “so it can continue producing the great content our Spanish-speaking consumers like to watch, and continue growing and being successful”.For his part, Conde defined the construction of these headquarters as historical, because “it recognizes not only Telemundo Enterprises´growth potential, but also the growth of our Hispanic community in the US. Our focus on Telemundo, which I think has been key and what has helped us grow so much throughout the last few months and years, is to continue producing original content here in the US for US Hispanics with US Hispanics”. He added that the heaquarters would be ready to broadcast the first FIFA World Cup that Telemundo has for the summer of 2018.
