THEMA America announced Kanal D Drama will be available to Comcast customers on the Xfinity Latino TV tier by November 1st.

Kanal D Drama is a global network produced from a strategic alliance between THEMA and Kanal D International, the leading exporter of Turkish dramas worldwide. Comcast will be the first US distributor to carry Kanal D Drama.

“I’m pleased that Kanal D Drama will be the first and only Turkish drama channel to bring to the Hispanic audiences the high production quality and unique storytelling of Turkish dramas which created the Turkish Drama phenomena all over the world. With high-quality content tailored to the Hispanic market, and a vast library of the best Turkish series owned by Kanal D, the leading TV channel of Turkey for 26 years, I’m sure that Kanal D Drama will resonate among the Spanish-speaking community in the US,” said Kerim Emrah Turna, executive director, Kanal D International.

“It is a real pleasure to partner with Comcast to deliver more entertainment options to the US Hispanic communities. Kanal D stories are spreading worldwide and are already a phenomenon in Latin America. I am thrilled that for the first time, Hispanic audiences throughout the US will be able to enjoy this programming through Xfinity,” said Patrick Rivet, CEO, THEMA America.

Kanal D Drama was launched in 2018 and is now available in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Uruguay. Its success is now expanding beyond the Americas with plans to launch in Europe, Africa, and Asia in the near future.
