CNN en Español expands in the US Hispanic market

As part of her new responsibilities at CNN en Español, one of Cynthia Hudson’s main goals is to differentiate each of the channel’s feeds

(Maribel Ramos-Weiner). “We are expanding our presence in the US and there will be specific programs for this market. The change is going to be evident in the programming and image for Hispanics in the US. We are talking about news that deal with Hispanics as it relates to their future as Americans, as part of this country,” said to PRODU, Cynthia Hudson-Fernández, Senior VP and General Manager of CNN en Español and of Hispanic Strategy for CNN/U.S., in reference to the upcoming changes to the signal in the US Hispanic market.As part of her new responsibilities at CNN en Español, one of Hudson-Fernández’s main goals is to differentiate each of the channel’s feeds by region: Pan-regional, Mexican, and US Hispanic.
