One of the priorities of Cisneros Media Distribution (CMD) during MipTV was to identify clients in the most diverse regions to offer them Mobius Lab Productions that have been recently finished.These are programmers who normally weren´t use to buy CMDs catalogue and can now find a variety of topics thanks to our creative team for development of new contents, explained to PRODU Marcello Coltro, Executive VP for Content Distribution at Cisneros Media. Another priority was to close preproduction deals regarding the new serienovelas format. The first serienovela is Para Verte Mejor by Mónica Montañés. It is an editable format that allows the dramatic series to be programmed as a 120-episode or a 25-chapter, five season telenovela.The plot of Para Verte Mejor takes place in a fun building inhabited by families from different generations and social classes who are unknowingly manipulated by a sociopath who plays with the lives of these people as if they were puppets.Coltro commented that the first program developed by Mobius.Lab Productions include flexibility to locate content using talents from each client as hosts of the programs. He offered some examples: Hotwire-end of Days, a four-episode newscast that presents the impact of terrorist groups in the world; Talk the Walk, which covers the evolution of celebrities in the world of entertainment; and Súper Genios, an educational entertainment program for children.All Mobius.Lab productions are designed to work on the new platforms, since they are accompanied by rights for multiplatforms and 90-second versions for social networks and one to two minute webisodes, he explained. He added that they are producing Entre Tu Amor y Mi Amor (120×60), by Carlos Pérez, a traditional romance story, adaptable to the digital environment. The story has less characters, it is focused on the main plots with shorter dialogues and scenes that are more dynamic.
