Cisneros Media launches its channel Venevisión on DIRECTV US for the multicultural Latin audience

Cisneros Media Distribution announced that its channel Venevisión will start with programming in Spanish on September 15 on DIRECTV, as part of its Hispanic programming of largest distribution.

Marcello Coltro, EVP at Cisneros Media Distribution commented: “This another essential accomplishment for Cisneros Media Distribution in the US. Less than a year after venturing into the US market, the launch of Venevision through DIRECTV assures us that our first quality entertainment programming will reach the main markets in the US to attract the Latina audience with a variety of programs and successful formats.”

Venevisión presents the largest variety of content produced in the Cisneros Media studios, including live shows such as Súper Sábado Sensacional and Portadas, as well as daily pre-shot programs like Cartas del Corazón. Additionally, they will offer the most successful dramatic genres, from novelas to series, and will have the debut of Entre Tu Amor y Mi Amor, followed by innovative formats like the series-novela Para Verte Mejor. Venevisión is also the host of the Miss Venezuela contest.
