Cinelatino has prepared a chilling lineup of films to celebrate Halloween on its U.S. feed and El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) on its Latin American feed.
U.S. viewers can enjoy a series of science fiction and horror films starting at 8pm ET/5pm PT on Monday, October 30, while viewers in Latin America can experience some of the most chilling Latin films of all time, beginning Wednesday, November 1, at 5pm MEX/8pm ARG.
The Halloween special includes titles such as:
–Aulas Peligrosas (The Faculty): A sci-fi classic about a small-town high school that finds itself with a faculty issue when the entire staff is suddenly controlled by parasitic aliens. Starring Salma Hayek, Elijah Wood, Jordana Brewster, Josh Hartnett and Famke Janssen.
–El Cuervo (The Crow): Exactly one year after the vicious murder of him and his fiancée, a poetic guitarist is suddenly brought back to life by the powers of a magical crow. Brandon Lee stars in his final role before his on-set death, in this gothic story of vengeance.
–La Cara Oculta (The Hidden Face): A haunting Colombian thriller that pushes the limits of love and trust to the extreme, when a jealous girlfriend accidentally locks herself in a hidden room.
The Day of the Dead special features titles like:
El Coco (The Bogeyman): Colombia’s most entertaining comedians find themselves trapped in a spooky mansion where, in the midst of witchcraft, calls from beyond and strange appearances, they must heroically confront the one character who strikes fear in all children: El Coco.
