Cinelatino will celebrate Holy Week with a collection of biblically inspired films depicting the miraculous stories of the Holy Scriptures.Families will be able to enjoy movies of faith, love, sacrifice and new beginnings with the premiere of El Arca de Noé (The Ark) on Thursday, March 24, and María, Madre de Jesús Parte 1 y 2 (Mary, Mother of Jesus: Part 1& 2) on Sunday, March 27, both airing at 9:15pm ET/6:15pm PT. El Arca de Noé (The Ark) is the classic biblical tale of Noah, a farmer and family man who is instructed by an angel to build an ark in the desert to save his family, as well as anyone who will listen, from a devastating flood. David Threlfall, Emily Bevan, Joanne Whalley, Ashley Walters, Don Warrington, and Hannah John-Kamen star in the film.María, Madre de Jesús (Mary, Mother of Jesus) tells the story of the life and sufferings of Jesús of Nazareth told through the eyes of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The film depicts the joy, pain and suffering of the humble Blessed Virgin as she watches her son grow and lead a life of sacrifice to save the world from sin. The two-part Easter Sunday special features Ángela Molina, Nancho Novo, Yael Abecassis, and Nicholas Rogers.
