Nina y las Neuronas premieres on June 21st
CBeebies, BBCs pre-school channel, announced the launch of two new shows in the US Hispanic market: Nina y las Neuronas (Nina and the Neurons) and El mundo mágico de Garth y Bev (The Magic Life of Garth & Bev). Both shows aim to promote the social, emotional, and personal development in pre-schoolers.Nina y las Neuronas, which premieres on June 21st and is aimed for kids ages four- to six, is a fun science show set in Nina’s workshop. In the program, neuroscientist Nina enlists the help of the Neurons (five animated characters representing the senses) inside her brain to help answer questions.El mundo mágico de Garth y Bev premieres on June 28th. The brother and sister duo, Garth and Bev are like any other seven and five year-olds, apart from the fact that they live in the Bronze Age and can time-travel!This month, CBeebies also introduced the second season of La gran granja (Big Barn Farm) which narrates the day-to-day adventures of farmyard animals.
