Carlos Bardasano Jr. appointed senior VP for Original Content at W Studios

Carlos Bardasano Jr. has moved to W Studios, the new production company owned by Patricio Wills and Univisión.He will take the position of senior VP for Original Content and is already working on W Studios´ first series.The production company -a joint venture equally shared between Univision and Patricio Wills with his partner Fernando Restrepo- appears with a long-term vision and a light concept, with very little infrastructure and cameras, in the aim to shoot stories where they take place and not necessarily in Colombia. They will produce series and programs for UniMás and series and short formats for the Mexican market, especially Televisa.Bardasano Jr. served since 2014 as Original Content VP at Univision, directing content and alternative productions of the Entertainment Division. He was previously in charge of programming and content for UniMás, position with which he joined the Hispanic network in 2012 when he left Telemundo, where he performed as Executive Entertainment VP.The executive has a Master of Science in Television Administration from Boston University.
