Caracol: La Esclava Blanca has already been sold to 28 countries and is being dubbed into English, Portuguese and French

Barely a month after its international launch, La Esclava Blanca (60×60´) has already been sold to 28 countries and is being dubbed into English (to be aired in Africa), Portuguese, French and Indonesian. It is Caracol´s star product for MipTV 2016.“La Esclava Blanca had excellent pan-regional sales, and now continues to conquer the world through territories in Europe and Asia”, stated Lisette Osorio, VP for International Sales at Caracol Televisión.This superseries, shot 100% in outdoor locations, with cinema optics, an international cast and more than 400 extras, that continues in the trend of exploring short stories. It is currently leading Colombian prime time and is reaching the screens of all continents.“Caracol is always innovating and setting trends, that is why we decided to explore short-length stories that have high production standards. Our first production with these features was Laura, Una Vida Extraordinaria, that had 25 episodes and offered the audience a story full of twists, loaded with emotions and unprecedented landscapes”, reminiscenced Osorio. Caracol produces more than 6 thousand hours of content per year and has a catalogue of 20 thousand hours of productions, which continues to expand and diversify. Now, together with their famous fiction shows, it includes their own entertainment, documentary and film formats.“These genres have had very good output and we hope that our own new entertainment formats stand out in international screens”, ended the executive.
