Canal SUR achieves broad coverage during Venezuelan Parliamentary elections

Canal SUR reached the broadest coverage in Latin American election history by transmitting the Sunday, September 26 Venezuelan Parliamentary elections from beginning to end and from every corner of the country.The special transmission was sent over the Globovisión signal together with that of Venezuela Regional Television, which televised together with the Global channels in the Zulia region; Promar TV in the country’s Western-central region, TAM in the Andean region, TRT in southwest Venezuela and in the region on the Colombian border; TVO in the East and TVS in the North-central area of the country; as well as transmission of the events from Miami.Canal SUR has been viewed in Hispanic homes in the United States for over 15 years, and is currently distributed via satellite through DISH Latino and via cable through: AT&T, Atlantic Broadband, Cablevision, Comcast, Cox Communications, Midcontinent Cable, Qwest, Time Warner, TV Max and Verizon.
