Canal 22 Internacional is presenting the Environment Week, a series of special 30-minute programs until Friday 10th at 7pm, each day highlighting Mexicos biodiversity. The new productions will show the current environmental threats and highlight efforts to protect tropical rain forests, coral reefs and marine life.The Environment Week will coincide with two important celebrations: the World Environment Day on June 5th and the World Oceans Day on June 8th, with this years theme: Healthy Oceans, Healthy Planet to raise awareness and stop plastic pollution.On Monday 6th, they will air Bosque de Coniferas; on Tuesday 7th Bosque Galleria; on Wednesday 8th Acuatico, which focus on the aquatic ecosystem of rivers, dams, lakes and springs. On Thursday 9th Mesofilo (also known as the Cloud Forest) and the week will close with Selva Baja or Lowland Jungle on Friday 10th.
