BTF Media acquires 100% of Garage Films

BTF Media acquired 100% of the shares of the film division of Garage Films in the aim to open BTF Spain. The presentation of BTF Spain to the press and media will be on June 19 at 4:30pm Madrid time, in the Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas in Spain.

The brothers Oriol and Albert Uría, founders of Garage Films, continue being partners of BTF Media in the other operations they carry out with the company in which BTF Media is also part.

With the purchase of Garage Films Cine, BTF Media increases its current fiction project portfolio. The purpose of BTF Media is the development and offer of contents through a business model that boosts Spanish-language talent.

One of the projects to be developed in Spain and Italy is the series on Maradona’s life, together with Teresa Enrich, responsible contents and fiction at Garage Films since 2016.
