beIN SPORTS: Good start in advertising sales with clients like Volkswagen and AT&T

Since the start of this year, César Ruiz, leads the advertising sales team of beIN SPORTS as Sales Director. He highlights that they have reached important agreements with clients such as Volkswagen and AT&T, and they have added other brands like Hennessy, Bulova Watches, Sprint, Metro PCS, MillerCoors, among others.“We are still in a process to start with the brands from Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) but we are in a good position to begin next year with them”, Ruiz told PRODU.He highlighted that they sold the Spanish League and the Copa América events very well. In May, the channel had already placed it around 75% of the Copa América inventory in the Hispanic side and 60% in the English side. He also said that total market goes well for beIN SPORTS and mentioned the case of the brand Ford among the six advertisers who have bought the same property in Spanish and in English. “The Ford case is interesting because it came from a Hispanic agency and they also bought the slot in English to reach Hispanics that only speak English because they feel more comfortable in that language”.
