Dona Flor y Sus Dos Maridos
The Univision Network announces the premiere of its latest romantic comedy series Doña Flor y Sus Dos Maridos (Doña Flor and Her Two Husbands), a seductive story about love and passion that explores the supernatural.
Doña Flor y Sus Dos Maridos will air on the Univision Network Monday through Friday at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT) starting April 15th.
Doña Flor y Sus Dos Maridos tells the story of Flor (Ana Serradilla), who has always dreamed of intense, passionate love. That’s why when she meets Valentín (Joaquín Ferreira), a charismatic scammer who lives life to the fullest, their attraction is inevitable. However, happiness is fleeting. When Valentín suddenly passes away, Flor’s friend and lifelong suitor, Teo (Sergio Mur), is there to comfort her.
Unlike Valentín, he is a respectful, nice and mild-mannered man. Just as Flor begins to overcome her grief, the unexpected happens, and Valentín returns as a ghost, turning Flor’s world upside down.
Produced by Televisa’s Eduardo Meza, Doña Flor y Sus Dos Maridos is inspired by the Brazilian novel written by Jorge Amado, adapted as a short series format with a contemporary plot, and filmed using cinematographic techniques.
