BBC Worldwide announced the catalog of titles they will be offering at the LA Screenings 2017.
The dramatic genre includes the series: Top of the Lake: China Girl (60×60’ or 7×50’), created and directed by Jane Champion; Broken (6×50’), that is about a catholic priest with a dubious past; and Paula (3×50’).
“The importance of the LA Screenings for BBC Worldwide is reflected in the variety and quality of the multi-genre and multi-platform titles we will be offering to our commercial partners through this year’s event,” pointed out Anna Gordon, executive VP and Managing Director of BBC Worldwide Latin America/US Hispanic.
As for comedy, they will offer White Gold (6×30’), whereas in natural history they will take the second season of the series Blue Planet (6×50’), as well as Spy in the Wild (4×50’).
In the facts area they are presenting the 24th season of Top Gear; in the children´s genre, a new season of Go Jetters; and in the musical terrain they will have the documentary George Michael: Freedom.
Regarding the formats genre, “we will offer our clients Let it Shine, in which a panel of outstanding musicians and entertainers seek to create the best and newest band in the country, as well as In Your Ear, a warm and witty series that examines how different perspectives can open up peoples´ eyes to a different type of life”.
