(Marcela Tedesco). 25% of the total audience of the grupero music channel Bandamax resides in the U.S. Catering to this important market, Televisa Network plans to produce in 2011 two shows intended for the U.S. audience, but that would also be attractive for Central and South American audiences. One of the projects is Bandamax USA, a grupero top ten with emphasis on the musical themes most popular in the U.S. The other show is Los 15 que soñé, a program where soon-to-be-fifteen girls test their musical knowledge in order to win prizes for their birthday celebrations. “We are projecting it for January. We have already made a pilot and the magic of this show is in the girls, who are spontaneous and refreshing,” said producer Víctor Manuel Moreno.

Both shows will be produced in Mexico. Bandamax USA will have some coverage and stories from the U.S., and the casting for Los 15 que soñé will be done in the U.S. as well.
