In order to increase their presence in the international market, 360 Powwow and Balassa Films announced a strategic content production and development agreement in Mexico. Adrián Santucho, from 360 Powwow, will lead the efforts from Miami, and Alex Balassa, from Balassa Films, from Mexico City.
“Mexico is a fundamental market for the production of formats. It has always been one of our challenges to grow there, the most competitive in Latin America. And that this objective is achieved through Balassa Films is the confirmation of many years of work and mutual respect. Balassa Films is the ideal partner, with the experience and recognition in the local market and with the talent required to be at the forefront of what our clients demand,” Adrián Santucho, CCO of 360 Powwow, highlighted.
“Powwow’s vision complements us, and also adds even more experience in international production. This strategic agreement will allow us to build a large portfolio of original content in all genres and continue to consolidate an in situ development and production team in both markets, the US and Mexico,” said Alex Balassa, CEO of Balassa Films.
Recognized by series such as Kally’s Mashup; the reality show, El Domo del Dinero, and the comedy, Según Bibi; the docu-reality, La Expedición or the documentary series, Héroes Cotidianos, respectively, they bring together experience, talents, and projects. With this agreement, both companies confirm their expansion strategy, which they have been promoting in the last year and a half.
They currently work with clients such as Discovery, Paramount+, Netflix, NBC-Telemundo, Univisión, and Televisa, among others.
