Azteca Estudios has three external productions installed

Patricia Jasin, VP of TV Azteca Internacional and now leading Azteca Estudios, assured there are three large-scale external productions being shot and working on the production campus. One of the projects belongs to a US company and the other two are local, with co-producers, and international projection. 

Jasin explained that Azteca Estudios was working since last year, but until now had not revealed this (the announcement was made exclusively on #PRODUprimetime with Richard Izarra), because they recently acquired this focus as an independent business unit, mainly to give service to third parties.

As for biosafety measures, the executive clarified that albeit adding an additional load to productions, on Azteca Estudios, they have strict internal protocols, and each production additionally has its own measures: “We are open to working together on this topic and design strategies”. She added that in those spaces they also have personnel from Civil Defense, doctors, ambulances, and everything that is necessary to be protected.
