Azteca America: New season of Lo que callamos las mujeres premieres with episodes produced for U.S. Hispanic

Over 13 years ago, the episodic series Lo que callamos las mujeres on Azteca hit Mexican homes as the first show dedicated to denouncing the issues faced by millions of women in Latin America. It was a smashing success, reaching distribution in over 20 countries worldwide.On April 22nd at 7pm, Lo que callamos las mujeres, now under Azteca America, makes history again with stories from Hispanic communities from major cities across the U.S. Producing with the U.S. in mind, the program more closely depicts the stories of thousands of immigrant women and what they experience daily. “We’re committed to the Hispanic community and to the production of high quality content that reflects the reality of Latinos in this country. The new season of Lo que callamos las mujeres brings never-before-told life stories of our community, that we hope will touch our viewers hearts,” said Marlene Braga, VP of Programming of Azteca America.Stories about crossing the border, about raising children in a new culture, will provide the condiment to the episodes of Lo que callamos las mujeres on Azteca America in the U.S., featuring a cast of top-level actors.
