Arnaldo Limansky
Arnaldo Limansky reaches 60 years as a film and TV producer. Despite having studied civil engineering in his native Argentina, twists of fate drove Arnaldo Limansky into the areas of film and TV, where he has over 86 movies and 43 telenovelas under his belt.My vocation was always to be a planner. Thats why I studied civil engineering; a career I never developed but gave me the tools to be a good project manager, says Limansky. Limansky adopted Venezuela as his second home for 36 years. There, he was taken under the wing of Margot Benacerraf to produce La Cándida Eréndira y Su Abuela Desalmada of Gabriel García Márquez. He later worked at Gente de Cine, company of Miguel Ángel Landa, César Bolívar and Román Chalbaud, with whom he produced 14 films. Slowly, he entered the world of TV at the request of Guillermo González (Señor cine). He first produced telenovelas for RCTV and later for Venevisión.He also did a short stint in Puerto Rico (1986-1989), where he did projects for WAPA TV.For the past 13 years, he has lived in the U.S., working in TV for companies such as Telemundo, Disney, Imagina US and on independent projects. Limansky is also an entrepreneur who took part in the creation and commercialization of Dapro Plus, a TV production support software that has been sold in 15 countries. He is also an academic who emphasizes the importance of empowering new generations.
