With the presence of the president of the municipal region of Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, Dennise Ugalde; Epigmenio Ibarra, CEO and general producer of Argos Comunicación, cut the inaugural ribbon of the new Centro de Producción Independiente Gabriel García Márquez, that is comprised by six forums, with production and post-production services and becomes a new space for national and international producers to develop their projects with the highest quality standards. We are partially starting operations of this new production center that will have six forums, post-production facilities, together with costume and scenery warehouses, as well as other necessary areas. We will also have a three-story building with dressing rooms and offices. We already started to shoot in the first three forums and are working on the other two that we have had for 17 years, explained Ibarra. There, they are already shooting the series Señora Acero and La Doña.The producer highlighted that this project is extremely relevant for the audiovisual industry, both in Mexico and in Latin America and the US, since it is currently one of the biggest and most important production centers in the region and is not only intended for hosting productions by Argos, but for all the producers who create projects for the film and TV industry in Mexico, he added.We are proud to be able to tell the industry: this is your home, let’s make the kind of TV people deserve and the films they need, let’s make these a mirror of this country’s reality, he ended.
