Epigmenio Ibarra, CEO of Argos Comunicación, showed the new administration building they are already based in, although some parts are still under construction. He said that they have moved that way many times: with some of the spaces still in construction.
It is an entire, three-story building that has three floors and wide terraces. Production and art offices on the first floor are for the companies that hire the Gabriel García Márquez forums; the second floor is dedicated to talent and has 36 dressing rooms, a rehearsal room, a cafeteria, a terrace, and legal area to serve actors. The Casa Azul North campus is expected to open soon, where a diploma program for directors facing the camera will be offered, linking the studios and training programs.
“The last floor is for creation and management, where Argos Televisión, Argos Contenido Original, Headroom, and Algo Súper Ocurrente, are, along with Cinematic Media, that is also open to everyone,” said Ibarra.
The new building strengthens the company´s organizational change, where divisions become companies and each leader “will give it the tone and shape so that we continue to have a presence that after 25 years continues to be important, but that must continue in the future,” he explained.
