Amazon and Videocine signed an agreement for the Videocine films to reach Prime Video in Latin America. The agreement allows the Videocine productions to be aired exclusively on Prime Video five months after their launch in movie theaters in the region.
“The agreement with Videocine will allow Prime Video subscribers to have access to the greatest selection of Mexican blockbusters. We are always looking for ways to bring a better experience to our clients and are excited to expand our Prime Video catalog with the best content,” expressed Pablo Iacoviello, Head of Content Acquisition, Amazon Prime Video.
Since June, the platform will add to its catalog new Videocine productions, such as Mirreyes vs. Godínez, No Manches Frida 2 and Tod@s Caen will also arrive.
“We are thrilled to start this relation with Amazon Prime Video. Bringing our Mexican films to this platform will allow its enormous and constantly-growing audience to enjoy them,” stated Rodrigo de Pedro, General Director of Videocine-
All the Videocine titles will be available in HD on Prime Video and will be able to be downloaded temporarily to watch without an Internet connection on compatible mobile devices.
