Amagi Corporation is a technology company responsible for putting together FAST (free ad-supported streaming television) channels. Estefanía Arteaga, Senior Director of Content Alliances, spoke about her activities at Mipcom 2023.
“We are working with all content owners promoting the world of FAST channels,” she said, adding that Amagi advises its clients on how to start a channel of this nature, how to program it, and its corresponding catalogs. “We offer all the tools so they can learn more about this field.”
She assured that the company works with all platforms and connected TV worldwide connected to the FAST space. “With our marketplace called Amagui Connect, we are strengthening this FAST world globally to replicate elsewhere the growth it has experienced in the US.”
“In Latin America, we are also working with many suppliers and companies that are learning more about this format, which is a bit new in the Latin market,” she said.
She emphasized that this type of service offers advantages for traditional companies that have large catalogs. “It is an opportunity to reach a different audience and to be very creative in reusing catalogs in ways that allow them to reach different territories.”
