A Latina Television Women’s Association is created

Upon the end of Natpe in Miami, a meeting was held to formalize the creation of the Latina Television Women’s Association, in the aim to empower and highlight women’s leadership in this business. The beginnings took place during MIP Cancun, when they were sharing during a festive moment, strengthening the friendship ties they have established throughout the years. In Natpe, this project was consolidated.

Liliam Hernández from Cinergia, Rosalind and Roxana Rotundo from VIP 2000 TV, together with Cecilia de la Torre, from Tondero Distribution, among others, have been the event´s engine, which started spontaneously as a summon on social networks, that ended up gathering an important group of women who boost the TV industry in the region.
