Top Chef VIP, a RCN production for Telemundo based on NBCUniversal Formats’ Top Chef, returns for a third season in May on Telemundo.
Alejandro López, Alicia Machado, Daniela Castro, Diana Reyes, El Niño Prodigio, José Luis ‘El Puma’ Rodríguez, Mark Tacher, Patricia Navidad, Polo Morín, and Rosie Rivera are some of the 20 contestants who will compete for a cash prize of US$200,000. Carmen Villalobos returns as the host.
The reality show is produced by Francisco “Cisco” Suárez, VP and Executive of Reality and Primetime Specials Programming at Telemundo, along with Luciano Cardinali and Fernando Lorente as executive producers.
“I am thrilled to announce the return of Top Chef VIP to Telemundo this May. Get ready for a culinary showdown like no other, as a dynamic cast of 20 contestants brings their best to the kitchen. With challenges reaching new heights of intensity and drama, and a historic cash prize awaiting the victorious end, the stakes have never been higher,” said Ronald Day, President of Entertainment and Content Strategy at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises.
Day added that this third season will bring more episodes (a new episode every Sunday night, totaling six episodes per week) and a special live digital broadcast program titled Realities After Dark, hosted by Beta Mejía and Dennhi Callu, offering fans the opportunity to delve into the highlights and analysis of each episode.
