The production company 3C Films (Argentina, Mexico, and the US) started in Buenos Aires the shooting of the political thriller series, Madame Requin (8×45’).
Directed by Alberto Lecchi, the series features the performances of Flavia Palmiero (Jacqueline, Madame Requin) in her return to acting, Fabián Vena, Luciano Cáceres, Jenny Williams, Mica Vázquez, Nico Riera, Leticia Brédice, Sabrina Garciarena, Ana Celentano, Luis Ventura and Gonzalo Suárez, among others. Juan Crespo, CEO from 3C Films, and Marcelo Altmark, are the producers. The original script is by Alejandro Pablo Robino.
The original series revolves around Jacqueline Requin, widow, banker, and expert in economics, who chairs a financial group that integrates the bank she inherited from her husband, who recently died in a dubious accident and is about to go bankrupt. On an eight-day lightning trip to Buenos Aires, Jacqueline will try to carry out a mega political-financial scam that will allow her to obtain the funds to save her bank, generating a network of corruption that will irreparably damage her only emotional refuge: her daughter and granddaughter.
Crespo forecasts that the series will wrap up production in the first week of August. He is currently editing simultaneously to speed up the times. He added that they are in talks with some platforms, but nothing is closed yet.
