Sarcástico with Daniel Sarcos (26×44’) is a talk show produced by Alton River Media exclusively for Venevisión (Venezuela) on free-to-air TV and VePlus (worldwide) on pay TV, both part of Cisneros Media. It will have two initial seasons of 13 episodes each and was filmed in Miami at Mediapro studios. It premieres on Venevisión on Sunday, the 11th, during prime time, and on VePlus on Wednesday, the 14th, at 8 pm.
The show is expected to reach over 25 million households in the US, Latin America, and Spain.
Martín Halac, executive manager of Alton River Media, and his partner Carlos Cerutti, co-owner of the production house, oversee the production. Mariela Mastrangelo is the executive producer of Sarcástico with Daniel Sarcos. The show is in full HD multicamera format.
“It has been an extraordinary experience producing the show. Carlos (Cerutti), my partner, and I have always wanted to produce in Miami since we live here in Florida. When I met Daniel (Sarcos), I thought he was sensational. He is a wonderful person, a TV host with a lot of experience, one of the few who can entertain and amuse, a brilliant person,” Halac told PRODU.
He mentioned that they were excited about the idea of having Daniel Sarcos interact with people from different backgrounds. “And the idea of Sarcástico came up. Venevisión loved the name and the proposal. We started working with Jonathan Blum. With Daniel Sarcos’ people skills and the quality of his character, it turned into a show where the guests themselves contributed. Daniel worked on choosing the format and developing the topics. It’s a surprising program for the whole family,” he added.
Halac, who worked for 15 years with Mediapro, trusted that the company’s facilities were ideal for producing the show. “We used one of Mediapro’s large studios, a very large set with spectacular decor, with four cameras,” he said.

SHOW DYNAMICS
Each episode of Sarcástico with Daniel Sarcos will delve into everyday life topics reflecting current reality—covering everything from relationships to daily issues like divorce, diversity, and generational conflicts—to connect with the audience.
Halac explains that the show will start with a reflection by Sarcos to introduce the episode’s topic, inspired by curiosities and trends that will capture the audience’s interest in a relaxed and approachable tone. “Throughout the program, Daniel—with his characteristic empathy—will invite celebrities to discuss these topics, enriching the conversation with a variety of opinions, experiences, and unexpected twists,” he says.
For Sarcos, this program has been an opportunity to keep learning. “You never stop learning, and I am happy to have this opportunity to handle this different type of situation.”
Halac mentions that the show’s dynamics will be enhanced by the presence of an astrologer and a sexual psychologist, who will provide different perspectives on each discussion.
Some of the guests for the first seasons include Don Francisco, Adamari López, comedian George Harris, Dr. Nancy Álvarez, Marko, Nando de la Gente, David Chocarro, Fernando Fiore, and Carolina Sandoval, among others.
