W Studios revealed that El Último Dragón (80×60’), is the most ambitious production they are developing, due to the number of countries involved and the size of the production team, that will go together with Lemon Studios and it is a co-production with Televisa.
“We will start shooting with Lemon Studios, our flagship Project El Último Dragón, a plot by Arturo Pérez Reverte and will have the same team of La Reina del Sur. It is a co-production between W Studios and Televisa, that will be launched on Las Estrellas and Univision. The shootings will be in Mexico, Japan, Spain, the US, and Colombia” explained Carlos Bardasano, Senior VP General Content at W Studios.
He explained that it will be a teleseries, with a longer shooting period due to the complexity of the production and the countries involved.
Additionally, they recently launched the second delivery of La Piloto on Las Estrellas and began shooting Contracara by Angelique Boyer and Michel Brown.
