Tom Mohler, CEO of Olympusat Holdings, commented that they are developing a new series, the most ambitious in the company´s history, called La Hacienda del Rey, that will be launched in the last quarter of this year.
The executive explained that the series, which has been a huge investment and challenge, tells the story of a man separated from his family and sent back to Mexico, where he has to struggle for money, and the bad decisions he makes, lead him to be recruited by a drug cartel. “It is about this, but also about love, family and the struggle to survive.”
Mohler added that they expect to have 12 episodes ready by the moment of the launch and that they will immediately start working on the next season, which they would like to launch the second quarter of 2019.
The CEO also explained that they are partnering with the same broadband and mobile service providers, “the biggest in the world”, who can combine the Vemox platform with broadband. “They can avoid people changing to other providers and can attract more people who might not have broadband at all.”
In his opinion, at most in five years there will be substantial increases. “People in Latin America and Spain, and in the US, will be pressured to obtain unlimited data on their 4G broadband phones, so they can watch videos”.
