For 25 years, Zee Entertainment has built a catalog of at least 250,000 hours of content from India, including telenovelas and films, with licenses in almost all the countries around the world.

“Latin America is a very important market for us and we are truly interested in investing there. We already have the channel Zee Mundo, which we hope grows so that people can enjoy the content produced in India, and around 200 films have been dubbed into Spanish. We also expect to make original productions in the region,” said Sunita Uchil, EVP at Zee Entertainment.

Another offer the company has in MipTV is the documentary Life of Earth From Space (2×60’), produced by Talesmith in a partnership with Smithsonian in the US and whose rights for LatAm are handled by Zee, both for pay TV and for open TV, as well as for OTT and SVOD platforms. The production offers a cinematic vision with the 4K technology of the history of the planet, with high-resolution images from the International Space Station.
