Noticias Telemundo to air the especial Con las Faldas bien Puestas

Noticias Telemundo and Enfoque present Con las Faldas bien Puestas, a special program dedicated to female leaders who are changing the world, this Sunday, March 18 at 5pm/4 C on Telemundo. Noticias Telemundo Mediodía anchor Felicidad Aveleyra will lead the coverage from Mexico City’s Zócalo, or main plaza, in a broadcast designed to coincide with Women’s History Month.

“Con las Faldas bien Puestas is a kaleidoscope that showcases the tremendous accomplishments of extraordinary women. In this special program, Noticias Telemundo presents the stories of women who day after day is leading a silent revolution,” Aveleyra remarked.

Singer and activist Lila Dawns, Miguel Hidalgo District Head and Congressional candidate Xochitl Gálvez, soprano Ana Gabriela Guevara, boxing champion Mariana “La Barbie” Juárez, rescue worker Pola Díaz, soccer coach Guadalupe García, Fundación Reinserta representative Saskia Niño de Rivera, feminist Martha Lamas, and activists involved in the protests in Atenco are among the protagonists of the program, which showcases the challenges and achievements of the leaders who are redefining women’s roles in their respective spheres.
