Coproduced by Story House Entertainment and Netflix, the series follows Joaquin El Chapo Guzmán in his first great escape from prison and will unveil the key role played by the corrupted government to help him to be above all the rival cartels’ chiefs.
This season, the series created by Silvana Aguirre Zegarra and Carlos Contreras, will include five talented directors from four countries: Ernesto Contreras form México; Carlos Moreno, Colombia; Hammudi Al-Rahmoun, Spain, and Daniel & Diego Vega, Peru.
Daniel Posada is the producer of El Chapo.
The third season of El Chapo has already been confirmed and will be broadcast on Univision and Netflix during 2018.
