According to Sergio Veiga, SVP and general manager of FOX Networks Group, South Cone, the industry is in a transformation stage, with great changes regarding demand and the audience’s entertainment consumption habits. For that reason, all the programmers are making huge efforts and investments to generate high-quality contents for the multiple devices that people are choosing to be informed, entertain themselves and also follow their favorite team.

“We are in a permanent innovation stage that we will surely continue leading with initiatives and new proposals and satisfying this new consumption habit that people have. As a response to this, we are always going to generate new proposals and launches, such as FX Movies, boosting our premium channels that never stop growing and are leading that segment, as well as FOX Sports Premium with the best of Argentinean soccer and additional programs with outstanding journalists,” said Veiga.

The company also continues creating local contents such as Sitiados 2, Santa Evita, Infidel and Aquí en la Tierra with Gael García Bernal, among others, and acquiring productions in the US, like, for example, the new version of SWAT, one of the most emblematic series from the 70s,but adapted to modern-day preferences.
