RTVE will make the most of its presence in Mipcom to present Clan, its new children’s channel for the Americas in the second quarter of this year and it can be seen in Colombia through Movistar With this new channel, RTVE is focused on strengthening the position of its current three international channels: TVE Internacional, 24 Horas and Star HD.
Clan aims at satisfying the entertainment and education demands of children up to 12 years of age, with particular attention to preschool years, 2-4-year-olds, and 4-7-year-olds, who will be the target of more than 80% of the programming.
The programming for Latin America includes recent Clan hits in Spain, whether they are their own productions, co-productions with independent producers (around 80% of the total) and acquisitions.
The programs that comprise the grid include Lunnis, a creation of RTVE that has received one of the Alegría de Vivir 2017 awards in the category Best Television Program for its “positive spirit” and Best RSC Project in the audiovisual sector in the IV Premios Empresa Social (Social Corporation Awards).
They also offer other series that have large children’s audiences, such as Bat Pat, Cuatro Amigos y Medio, Pumpkin Reports, Big Band Clan, etc., or entertainment programs like Cocina con Clan.
