In the context of the celebration of its eleventh anniversary in September, ViendoMovies chose several films from Argentina, Mexico, and Spain, among other Spanish-speaking countries.
One of the debuts will be the Argentinean film, Koblic, written and directed by Sebastián Borensztein. Starring the artists Ricardo Darín, Óscar Martínez and Inma Cuesta. The film won the Best Supporting role for Óscar Martínez and Best Photography at the 2016 Malaga Festival. It was also nominated to the Biznaga de Oro as Best Film.
Another debut is the Ecuadorian film No Robarás by Viviana Cordero, starring Vanessa Albarío, who plays the role of Lucía, a 16-year-old girl who has to raise her three siblings by herself because their mother is in jail.
From Spain, ViendoMovies presents a variety of launches, starting with No Habrá Paz Para Los Malvados, a film by Enrique Urbiza. It is followed by a drama/comedy, La Puerta Abierta with Carmen Machi and Terele Pavez, who was nominated for the Goya Awards for Best Actress and Supporting Actress. Lastly, Carne de Neón, an x-ray of the world in which vices, evil and humiliation are present, with talents like Mario Casas and Vicente Romero.
Other launches are Secreto de Confesión (Venezuela and Colombia) and El Comienzo del Tiempo (Mexico). The debuts end with El Niño Rojo (Chile).
