TV Azteca has successfully issued in international markets US$400 million in senior notes, for a term of seven years, with a coupon of 8.25%.
The senior notes issued on Wednesday, August 2, due in 2024, will refinance part of the company’s senior notes due in 2020, which will significantly improve the debt maturity profile of TV Azteca.
“The issuance had extraordinary demand from global investors, representing a vote of confidence from the international financial community regarding the positive operating performance, solid cash generation, and strong outlook of the company,” said Esteban Galíndez, CFO of TV Azteca.
