Multimedia entertainment studio Electus announced the creation of Electus Latino, a new division that will create and produce new original content, as well as distribute and sell scripted and unscripted series throughout Latin America.
Electus Latino will be based in Mexico City and led by Paulette Bensussen, Head of Electus Latino. Bensussen will continue to report to John Pollak, President of Worldwide Television and Electus International.
Electus Latino will be an extension of the successful Electus model, bringing together premium content providers with top brands to create and produce new original series for the market. In addition to creating new scripted and unscripted content, Electus Latino will also sell content from Electus International and its third party partners, and acquire new formats from the region to develop and distribute globally.
With Electus Latino, Electus continues to expand its reach into global markets as it brings major franchise titles to market this year, including Running Wild with Bear Grylls, Dating Naked, and ABC’s The Toy Box. Electus Latino will be making these and other popular formats from the Electus catalog available for immediate sales in the region.
