“CNN en Español started to evolve in 2010 when it went from mainly being a headlines channel to one with programming that engages with more accessible formats, social and digital presence and enhancing the newscasts by hiring analysts and prestigious anchors. Now, they have production studios in Miami, Mexico, Los Angeles and Washington. Seven years later, we have a dynamic channel with a highly engaged Latin audience,” expressed Jeff Zucker, president of CNN Worldwide, when kicking off the Upfront and celebration of the signal´s 20th anniversary.
Zucker had warm words of gratitude for Cynthia Hudson, senior VP and general manager of CNN en Español and Hispanic Strategy at CNN US, who was unable to attend due to health issues.
