As the company prepares for a major screening event of its new slate of Turkish dramas at the LA Screenings this month, FOX Networks Group Content Distribution (FNGCD) announces a raft of new deals for some of its Turkish titles, accounting for more than 2600 hours.

Latin American and Central European broadcasters are driving demand for FNGCD’s ratings-winning Turkish content, but FNGCD has also begun to open up new markets in Asia and Africa. With 18 offices around the world, the company is well placed to continue its mission to introduce Turkish drama across the globe.

Further to its recent transmission of In Love Again (Aşk Yenıden), Canal 13 in Chile has acquired Wings of Love (Bana Sevmeyı Anlat). That is My Life (O Hayat Benım) has been a major hit in Turkey and in continuous production, across four seasons, since its launch in 2014.

Having recently been acquired by broadcasters in Peru and Panama, FNCGD has just completed a major deal with Caracol TV in Colombia for its entire run to date, as well as deals for multiple seasons with Canal 10 in Uruguay, Telemundo in Puerto Rico and Belleville Media for a range of its channels across Central and South America.

“Demand for high quality Turkish drama is increasing worldwide and we are delighted to have a terrific pipeline from FOX Turkey to meet that demand. So many of the titles in our catalogue have been top ratings-winners in Turkey and this, combined with their on-going production from well-known and highly respected producers, is giving reassurance for buyers looking for something compelling and long-running to lock in their audiences. Latin America and Eastern Europe have already established themselves as key regions for Turkish drama but I am excited to see new territories and platforms around the world embracing our beautifully produced Turkish content,” commented Prentiss Fraser, FOX Networks Group Content Distribution’s EVP & managing director.

FOX Networks Group Content Distribution’s Turkish drama event at LA Screenings on 16th May will feature a screening of new breakout hit Lodestar (Çoban Yıldızı) and welcome a team from creators Most Productions. Forever Bound (Dayan Yüreğım), launched at MIPTV and produced by Endemol Shine, will also be featured, plus new episodes of existing hit titles such as No, 309, Second Chance and Wings of Love. In addition, the company will use LA Screenings to premiere Warriors (Savaşçı) to the international market, produced by Limon Yapim.
