Produced by Sony/Teleset, the teleserie Blue Demon, El Hombre Detrás de la Máscara (60×60’) is launched exclusively on Blim on Friday, November 11. During the presentation, Bruce Boren, VP at Televisa Networks, assured that this is one of the most important launches for this end of year and announced that in 2017, they will have one original production debut per month.
“Blim is a platform that can be seen throughout Latin America, with more than 20 thousand content assets. We have launched a couple of productions exclusively here. This is one of the main series to close the year, and for 2017 we will launch something new each month, because Televisa is producing quite a bit,” commented Boren.
Mauricio Cruz, the project director, highlighted that this is not a biography, “we were inspired on the iconic moments of this great Mexican character and the result is satisfactory. We had a combination of fiction with reality to achieve an attractive story and this is an important step.”
Blue Demon stars Tenoch Huerta and Ana Brenda Contreras, and is inspired in the real life of one of the most emblematic Mexican wrestling legends. It will be divided in three 20-episode seasons. It was written by Larisa Andrade, Rodrigo Ordóñez, Carlos Algara and Alejandro Martínez, produced by Daniel Ucros and directed by Mauricio Cruz and Javier Solar.
